Snowie ..... WIP (Hopefully)

Post by BillyBunnyUK on Tue Jul 04, 2017 8:26 am

So I have appeared to have become a multiple WIP (er) whilst never actually finishing them  Embarassed

I have decided to start another one - this time a Snowtrooper (everyone wish me the best in actually completing it!)

(1) Hard Parts have been ordered in a Kit from TM (mainly due to the larger chest piece)
(2) New E11 Blaster - still debating supplier
(3) Duster
(4) Trousers
(5) Boots & Gloves

So I am going to start looking on the 'forums' for where everyone else got the soft parts from as this is always where I fall down.

Duster - I assume will have to be made by myself but I have a contact in Spain who makes them
Boots - Damn how hard is it to get Mukluks! .... looks like I will have to import them from a Canadian Army Surplus store (downside is the $70-$100 shipping)

TBC hopefully in the very near future

Trousers : Chinos (not genes) or Taekwondo pants

Gloves: these take a week or two to get here   https://www.amazon.com/Wells-Lamont-Standard-Wearpower-48LF/dp/B00004R9QF/ref=dp_ob_title_hi

Boots: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=Mukluks&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XCanadian+Army+Surplus+Mukluks.TRS0&_nkw=Canadian+Army+Surplus+Mukluks&_sacat=0

All of these are what Guff (ukg armour) told me to get for clearance with them

Gloves are now sorted - they have been sent for free by Blizzard Squad.

New Size 7 Mukluks have been ordered from US ($100 inc delivery as part of 4th July Sale) Smile

Hiya guys

It's gonna be good to be able to troop with a couple more snowies.
My Mukluks are too big but I have put a pair of crocs inside.
Does the trick.
I find the costume itself quite comfortable to wear.
But it does get hot!!

If you speak to Wayne, tell him to stop delivering bills to my house!
